Apply for the 2026–2027 School Year
Kindergarten through Sixth Grade
Priority Application Deadline: January 20, 2026
Notification Date: March 13, 2026
We encourage families to apply early to allow time for interviews and child visits before notifications.
Step 1 — Inquire & Visit
Complete an Inquiry Form to schedule a campus visit or register for an admission event.
Step 2 — Apply
Submit your online application through our Parent Portal by January 20, 2026. There’s a non-refundable application fee of $125.
Step 3 — Parent/Guardian Interview
Meet with a Westland educator for a warm conversation about your child and your family’s hopes.
Step 4 — Child Visit Day & Assessment
We tailor the visit by age/grade to get to know your child as a learner and community member. Schedule the visit in the Parent Portal after you apply.

Kindergarten–Grade 2 (typical visit):
Children spend a morning on campus with Westland educators and peers. The visit begins with a warm one-on-one assessment with a Westland educator, followed by small-group exploration and play with peers. The visit typically lasts about an hour. No preparation is needed.Grades 3–6 (classroom visit + skills snapshot):
Older applicants spend approximately three hours on campus. They complete a skills-based assessment and join a current class to participate in group work and daily routines. The experience allows us to see how a student engages in our classrooms.Out-of-area or off-season applicants:
When travel or timing makes a standard visit difficult, we’ll arrange an individual on-campus or alternative assessment. We’ll work with your family to find the best approach.
Step 5 — Admission Decision
Families are notified of admission decisions at 5:00 pm on March 13, 2026.
